We welcome articles, in Italian and/or English, between 10.000 and 30.000 words with footnotes. A submission that is under or over this length will not be considered.

The articles accepted must conform to Eastern European History Review’s editorial notes. The journal has adopted the Chicago Manual of Style:

The authorization for publication by the conservative institution must be provided.

If the original document is not in Italian or English, the proposer must provide a translation into English or Italian and it will be published in both versions (the original and the translated).

Review Process

Editorial and Scientific Board judges the contribution according to the advancement of sciences and rejects manuscripts which are not in line with the mission of the journal.

Once verified that submissions respect the purposes of Eastern European History Review, the editors will send the paper to at least two blind peer reviewers. The sending is also notified to the author and the manuscript is considered accepted by the journal.

The reviewers could ask for some revisions of the works based on the guidelines and the scientific mission of the journal. If the authors accept the suggestions and will return the revised work (within the period indicated by the editorial board in the notification mail), the manuscript will be ready for publication.

The list of anonymous reviewers (and their affiliation) who contributed to the publication of the magazine will be published at the end of the year.
